WotC Stops Posting MTGO Decks

http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75846/29443457/What_is_WRONG_with_you,_WotC_Grrrr…..?pg=2

I am pretty stunned by this move.  As someone who is not part of a professional team and is not necessarily the best deckbuilder… I get a lot of my information from IRL tournaments and MTGO events.  In fact, I was culling the data from all the Standard MTGO events, all of the SCG events, TCG Player events, and States events to get a better picture of Standard and what the better decks are.

I will continue with my project, but it looks like I won’t have any new data!  Ah well, I guess it’s just back to brewing constantly!

Note: At this point in time I have collected all of the data I need from the various tournaments in the land, I just need to apply some decknames (which I’m generally much better at than say… SCG. ^_^) and start combining them into a larger file. Watch for my post on this, which will be huge but worth it. Thanks for reading!

Stay Tuned….

Well.. I’ve been having a rough time with my Jund deck online. I have reconfigured it six ways from Sunday and after losing to pretty much everything in Standard the other day, I’ve concluded that I may need a better deck or a very precise sideboard! At the very least I’ll be making some changes.

Also, I’ve pulled some data on both IRL and MTGO decks. I’ll figure out what’s hot and what’s not!
